Approach
Both sides of the file.
Most people reviewing loan files have only ever reviewed loan files. Robert C. Knuckles Jr. spent eighteen years on the other side of the desk — originating, documenting, and placing loans, and as a New Jersey commissioned notary signing agent, reviewing closing packages for completeness and correct execution before funding.
That history is the point. It is the difference between a checklist and a judgment: knowing which exceptions are cosmetic, which will not survive an audit, and which mean the file was never going to close. The result is review work that surfaces real problems and does not waste a lender's time on the rest.
The firm is small on purpose. The principal is both the point of contact and the person performing the work, which means direct accountability and no hand-off risk. Where a requirement exceeds one reviewer's capacity we team — and we say so up front, rather than miss a deadline.
